This week, our live assembly showcased our wonderful children in their fantastic Red Nose Day outfits. We journeyed around the classes with Mrs Hutchinson delivering our star of the week certificates, and here are our fantastic Stars of the Week this week!

We are so pleased at the number of children who managed 100% attendance in Autumn 2. This half term we have welcomed 175 children into the Attendance Hall of Fame!
A special shout out must go to the 115 children who have managed to get themselves into the Hall of Fame for a second time this term!

This week we have been working on stories; retelling stories from a story map and thinking how characters might be feeling. We have been working hard on our handwriting and numbers too. In science we have been identifying seasonal changes, we can see lots of these on our way to school and when we play out at break-time.
Well done Year 1 for producing some amazing examples of work this week. Keep up the hard work!

As the new year begins, we are making essential changes to our school Nurture Room. Our ELSA staff have been working tirelessly to create a calming, homely environment to create a safe space for our children.
We are looking for a fish tank (with equipment if possible) to help bring all areas of the space together. If you are able to help, please contact the office so we can arrange collection/drop off and quarantine time.
We are so excited for you to see our new-look Nurture Room so keep an eye out for a post in the coming weeks with all the fantastic things we have to show.
