Child and Family Support Manager 

 

I am Emma, and I started at Toner Avenue Primary School, in January 2023. I have a lot of years of experience in my role  

 

Within my role, I can offer lots of support in different areas:- 

 

I obtain food parcels from Feeding Families in Blaydon which can be offered to ALL OF OUR parents/carers, on a “no questions asked” basis.  These food parcels do NOT effect any benefits that you may be in receipt of. 

 

Greggs Foundation:  I am able to refer our parents/carers to Greggs for financial support, this can be for the following items:- (unfortunately, I can only do this once within a 12 month period per family)

Parenting: I can offer a wide range of Parenting hints and tips as well as parenting support programme such as Triple P – Positive Parenting Programme and Family Nurture.    

 

I am able to refer to South Tyneside Early Help team for support within your family home. 

 

Within school, I deliver Kidsafe Programme which is a Child Friendly programme delivered on a whole class basis, all about keeping safe. 

 

I am a listening ear to all of our children including staff, parents and carers.  I always have the kettle on and a box of tissues at the ready
