Year 4 have been working very hard over the last two weeks exploring the text ‘The Matchbox Diaries’. The story tells the tale of a Great Grandad who kept precious items in matchboxes as he moved from poverty stricken Italy to America with his family.
We have been practicing our descriptive language and designed and made our own matchboxes to keep our most treasured items safe.
