Thank you to all of the parents who attended this week’s Meet and Greet. It was lovely to see so many of you.
If you were unable to make it, don’t worry….everything you need to know is below.
Our topic this term is the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages.
We will be sending out a list of the 10 words each week, based on that week’s spelling rule, that the children should learn – please help your child learn these words. Also, to help your child in maths, please regularly practice their times tables (we focus on the 3, 4 and 8 times tables in Year 3). Children should know what 3 x 6 is without having to count up in 3’s. The more practice you can do with them the easier they will find the new Year 3 maths curriculum.
PE days are Mondays and Tuesdays.
Homework will be sent out on a Friday (Maths and English) and is due in on Wednesday. It should not take more than 30 minutes per activity….if your child is struggling, please let me know. There is also a homework club on Tuesday lunchtimes if your child wishes to attend.
