On Tuesday, Year 3 were visited by Amy, from the company One Day Creative, who provided a Stone Age workshop.
We started by playing a feelings game showing emotions without language to help us imagine life as a stone age man. We performed a variety of drama activities including playing cave man chess.
After lunch, we acted out a stone age advert to persuade people to buy a variety of stone age opportunities, including stone age houses, stone age holidays and visits to a stone age safari.
Finally, we performed our play called ‘Welcome to the Stone Age’ to the rest of the school. The play involved cavemen, hunter gatherers, doctors, patients and a TV reporter.
It was a brilliant day and we all had a lot of fun.
“It was a really cool day.” – Neve.
“It was great to wear real stone age headgear.” – Joseph.
“The day was really exciting as we have never had a stone age teacher in school before!” – Bethany
