Today year 3 got to spend their World Book Day vouchers at Waterstones in Newcastle Town centre.
We were welcomed and entertained by Johnny who had us all in the palm of his hand with his storytelling and engrossed with his mind reading talents! (Even the adults too!) The spooky sound effects made such a difference when we were listening to the stories. We can’t wait to visit again, especially when the immersion chair is in place.
Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay any longer as we had to get the metro home. I have to say, we were so proud and impressed with the children’s behaviour. They were absolutely brilliant.
It also made my day to see all of the children reading their books on the metro home. Take a look at some photos below.
