At Toner Avenue we have been celebrating World Book Day. All classes had lots of fun investigating their chosen author, There was some amazing work produced across the school, including designing and drawing characters from Eric Carle books in Nursery, creating Bog Babies in Year 1, all the way to producing their own videos about Rick Riordan in Year 6.
Staff also had a very enjoyable time reading their favourite book to another class. Everyone enjoyed the experience and the children loved the change. ‘I really enjoyed the voices Miss Dobbin used to entertain us in Year 3’ – Bethany and Lewis. ‘Her voices are really funny’ – Neve.
