Year 5 had a fantastic trip out to the Museum and Winter Gardens in Sunderland!
Pupils were able to explore the exotic plants and experience a tropical climate whilst in the Winter Garden. They also took part in an incredible workshop which taught them about the different species of animals who live in the Amazon Rainforest. Pupils listened to an expert talk about the different ways in which the animals had evolved and adapted to survive in the Rainforest.
