I saw this image over the weekend and was a little shocked! Firstly at how many social media outlets I had never heard of, and secondly the age restrictions that are imposed upon them.
Action for Children recommends that these age guides are followed by parents, although I understand that this will be very difficult to remove apps. They also suggest that parents check phones regularly and discuss with their children how social media can easily be abused or misinterpreted. I have spoken to all of the children today and shared this image.
