After excelling in the South Tyneside Y5 and Y6 Gymnastics Festival in March, Kate was chosen to represent South Tyneside in the Level 3 Tyne and Wear School Games. This took place yesterday at the City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy. After spending time with a coach trying out all of the wonderful activities and practising her routine, Kate finally got to perform it late in the afternoon. Unfortunately, she was unable to bring home a medal out of a very strong field of 17 gymnastics. As always, Kate was an excellent ambassador for Toner Avenue School.
