Insanity_Live_Logos_Blk

Hello everyone,

I’ve had a couple of questions and worries about the Insanity Parents and Kids class on a Thursday morning. Hopefully this will help ease your minds and encourage you to sign up!

The workout is half an hour.

We have a warm up, then 2 additional blocks ranging from plyometric, cardio, agility and abs work.

The warm up is 2 rounds of the same 5 movements.

We do 2 blocks of 4 moves. Each block is repeated 3 times

Then it’s the cool down.

The time flies by as the music is made especially for the workouts.

The music and workouts change regularly, so you’re never getting bored doing the same routine for weeks on end.

Some questions and queries I’ve had are below:

I’ve tried insanity at home and it’s really hard – I’m not fit enough.

This is the most common worry and I totally understand. I also completed the insanity DVD’s and found them to be a challenge.

This is why the live format is so much better! For each move I MUST have a modification move for those who don’t yet have the fitness or mobility to complete the original move. Otherwise I wouldn’t be doing my job properly as an instructor. You can still get great results from modifying the movements. I promise I will look after you all!

I can’t take part as I’m at work

That’s understandable as we all have very busy lives. However one child has asked if their older sister could come with her. That’s absolutely fine, as long as the adult is over 18 and known to the child. Aunties, uncles…even grandparents can do it!

I can’t do insanity as I need to have regular breaks

Again, this is why the live format is so much better. You do have set breaks during the class. However, you can also take yourself out to get a quick drink or to just have a few moments to yourself…I’m really not that mean!

I have a younger child in the school who also needs to be looked after

To help you as much as possible, then you can certainly bring them along to have a go. Although if they aren’t joining in, they must sit at the side safely as we don’t want them to get hurt by wandering into the workout zone!

Hopefully this helps you all.

Get your letters in everyone, even if it’s just for a try.

I know you’ll love it!

Miss Cox
