As part of the School’s Welly Week adventures, Year 3 revisited Monkton Community Woodland.
As a group, we identified a number of seasonal changes that had occurred and this led to very interesting discussions about how and why these had happened.
The children were disappointed to see the large amount of litter that was evident throughout this beautiful part of Hebburn and were very keen to look into ways to address their concerns.
We look forward to seeing what further changes have occurred next time.
