As part of our topic ‘Are We There Yet?’, the Year 1 children have been learning about the explorer Neil Armstrong. They have learnt all about how he was the first man to walk on the moon and the rocket he travelled there in, Apollo 11.
Yesterday, they invited their grown-ups into school to help them to build their very own rockets! A great time was had by all and there were definitely some rockets that even NASA would have been proud of!
