Year 2 had a brilliant time on Wednesday afternoon at the Urban Factory – just up the road from us in Hebburn Industrial Estate.
Everyone had the chance to try parkour, gymnastics and cheerleading.
The children absolutely LOVED it! It was brilliant to see the children’s confidence and ability improve in such a short time.
The children really enjoyed jumping on the long trampoline, doing forward rolls down an incline and most surprisingly – the children realised that cheerleading wasn’t just dancing – it included being strong and making formations too!

Thank you to Kimberley and the team for letting us visit. The children should have all received leaflets to give you more details of how the children can take part in the after school/weekend clubs that run an the Urban Factory.
