Or so we thought!
Year 4 had a wonderful time building on our topic question “What happens when worlds collide?” by panning for gold on Toner Avenue school grounds.
We each took turns using a panning dish and found small golden nuggets, which unfortunately turned out to be none other than fool’s gold! We still had good fun and were able to write a set of instructions for any prospectors who might feel lucky in the future.
